This website, sagwayer.com, is run by Adam Saguir (“I”, “me”). This page explains what data the site handles, why, and what you can do about it. Questions or requests: contact@sagwayer.com.

No cookies, no tracking

This site uses no cookies, no analytics, no advertising pixels and no third-party scripts. Everything it needs, fonts included, is inside its own files, so your visit is not shared with Google, Meta or anyone else.

Settings saved in your browser

If you switch between dark and light mode, your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage, so the site remembers it next time. When you move between pages, a small note is kept in your browser’s session storage to play the page transition. It disappears when you close the tab.

Both stay on your device and are never sent to me or to anyone else. You can delete them at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser.

Hosting and server logs

The site is hosted by Hostinger (opens in a new tab). Like every web server, theirs records basic technical information when you visit: your IP address, browser type, the page you asked for and the time. This is used to deliver the site and keep it secure, and Hostinger keeps it only as long as needed for that. Legal basis: my legitimate interest in running a safe, working website.

When you email me

If you write to me, at contact@sagwayer.com or at contact@sagma.co (the address I use for Sagma), I use your email address and your message only to reply to you. I keep them as long as our conversation needs, and I delete them if you ask. Legal basis: my legitimate interest in answering you, or the steps you ask me to take before working together.

Links to other websites

This site links to LinkedIn and to sagma.co. Once you leave this site, their own privacy policies apply. The link to sagma.co carries a short label (utm_source=sagwayer) so Sagma can count how many visitors came from here. The label says where the click came from, not who you are.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you can ask to see, correct, export or delete the data I hold about you, and you can object to how I use it. Email me at the address above. You can also complain to your local data protection authority, for example the Belgian Data Protection Authority or the Spanish AEPD.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page will be updated.
